How do Verizon text messages show up on phone bill?

Can the bill reader view what was said in the text messages? And if they can't by default, is there a way they can by calling verizon or something? This is an important feature not to have, and I was wondering before hand, but when I call Verizon they won't answer the question, unless I am an existing customer, so was wondering if one you, existing customers, could check into it for me.

No, they can't read what was said in the text, and as far as I know, you can't get anyway (through Verizon or anybody else) to read them.

They just show up as text sent, in-text sent and text received, in-text received.

I work for Verizon and i know for a fact that text messages do not appear on the bill other than how many were sent and recieved, and trust me, it is a pan to call us at customer service and get even a detail list of the #'s you text messaged. I can also promise you that even we cannot see what you write. Verizon tries to conserve money by printing smaller bills without detailed calls, so they will not waste more paper to print you messages on. 100% true.

ok you answered her question so do u think u could answer mine?? its......does a verizon phone bill show the times you called someone or just the number and how long you talked??
