How do u follow the fashion trends?

I'm really curious of why people like to follow "The Fashion trends"

or watch what not to wear, style network, pashion shows, and read vogue/teen vogue.

How? Well one can just read magazines such as Seventeen, Vogue, ect. Visit clothing sites I suppose...

Why? I dunno. I guess its nice to feel like you're part of the crowd.

because i love fashion!
if you buy somethng from he shops at any given time you are following trends without even realising it
i shop every month and buy things that will update my wardrobe, maybe 2 or 3 items

I do it because I like the specific trend, but I don't do everything. Like skinny jeans, I am way to short to wear them. I know it may sound odd, but even though I'm not fat, skinny jeans make me look like I have a little tummy because I'm so short.
