ive never used them before and all my friends told me to try it because it works great. so i went out on a reservoir and tried texas rigged and shaky head. but i didn't catch anything. what am i doing wrong? please help.

Depends on the lure. Are your rubber lures intended to be fished like live bait or are meant to be worked. If they are meant to be worked, I suggest you google the specific lure you are using and learn how to work that lure. Each lure has unique ways of fishing with it in terms of depth, speed, jerking/or smooth reel.....etc

depends on whats and where your fishing try either high up in a river or low where the fish are pooled in pennsylvania we wish the suquehanna and you have to go up stream or down stream you cant fish the middle unless you have a boat and can get between the islands tell you what just keep trying i found ahole and have been there reveryday for weeks now and everyday i catch something new

i have had some really good luck with the texas rig. It is a lure that needs to be jigged in the water. I pull up the tip of the rod pulling the lure up through the water probably about six feet, reel in the slack on the way down. Then i let it sink, normally to the bottom. Let it sit for a second then repeat. This lure is great for its weedless advantage. It lets you fish moss, lilly pads, trees, etc... Landing the fish is a little different also, they have to bite it twice normally. They bite once and only have the tail, if you try to set the hook it just slips out of their mouth. The second bite hopefully they have the hook part of the worm in the mouth and its ready to set the hook. I normally catch bass with this setup. Keep on fishing!
