How do u connect a bluetooth keyboard to a bluetooth dongle?

Hey i own a Logitech® Cordless MediaBoard Pro™ for PS®3 with the model number Y-X5A77 and i have just purchased a Bluetooth USB dongle for my laptop so i can use this keyboard on my laptop and im using the Bluetooth software bluesoleil and every time i try to connect or pair it doesn't seem to work, it finds the keyboard fine but it just doesn't connect, im using a dell latitude d520 running windows xp pro 32-bit. can someone help me to connect or offer me some new free Bluetooth software and help me step by step to connect it and use it with the touch-pad and keyboard, i appreciate the help. thank you
