R Robert M Guest Mar 24, 2009 #2 Usually, you follow the upper radiator hose to where it attaches to the block. There is a housing here, attached by 2 bolts. When you remove these bolts, the thermostat is exposed. Now, replace it, and the gasket. Voila!
