How do they test for Rhogam while pregnant?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant, and at my next appt, it says they are going to:
*Rhogam if you are Rh Negetive blood type. How do they do this test, and also the next time, they are going to test for anemia.

How do they do these tests?
 
To test for anemia and to test your blood type they do a blood test. If you are negative blood test they will give you a shot of Rhogam. If you are anemic they will want you to take iron.
