How do Thai people cook their rice?

Steamed fried or boiled?
Why I am asking is I can never get it to the desired consistency they have and I love it.
Cari, How would they grill it?
 
I think all 3 ways.

Regular rice is boiled.

That rice could later be fried with other things.

There is also a sticky rice that is cooked entirely with steam. That uses a lot of energy to make.
