Yes i am back again for another question.

I visit this website alot www.skymovies.com and it tells you what films is currently showing on sky movies and sky box office.

Now i know for a fact that once sky box office has finished showing a bunch of movies then sky movies take over in a couple of months time and show them. But what i dont know is when?.

For example, if sky box office is showing the film Robots & War of the WorlRAB how long would we have to wait until sky movies show these films?.

Or does anyone might have a guess? cause i love sky movies but i hate sky box office because i think they are ripping us off. But thats just my opinion.

It used to be one year from cinema release until a film went on SBO then six months later (18 months after cinema release) it would go on Sky Movies but now it is difficult to call. For instance next months Sky Movies show The Interpretor exactly one year after cinema release but The Village is premiering 18 months after cinema release. Some films seem to show up quicker than others. As for the gap between SBo and Sky Movies it still seems to be about four to six months.

thanks for the info, wow thats a long time isnt it. So if i am right, lets say Final Destination 3 came out feb,10th,2006 this year and lets say in 6 to 7 months the dvd is released, then 6 to 7 months later maybe 8 months its released on SBO then a year later its released on sky movies? cause that seems to me how its working these days.

Or when the dvRAB are released do the movies go straight to SBO? cause i think thats how it works. I am not too sure, and i dont meant o be rude or anything its just i didnt understand your post properly. :o

I would predict the following for Final Destination 3:-

FEB 2006 - Cinema Release
JUNE 2006 - DVD Release
OCT/NOV 2006 - Sky Box Office
FEB/MAR 2007 - Sky Movies

However, not all films shown on SBO make it to Sky Movies...correct me if I'm wrong, but Donnie Darko hasn't been shown on Sky Movies yet has it?
