I'm trying to find out the methods & strategies retail businesses use to evaluate performance. Obviously sales are a big indicator, but putting that to one side, how to do they evaluate how effective specific strategies are. I'm aware of of mystery shopping & survery based methods but how do they evaluate the following...
- how they decide whether an advertising campaign is succesful
- how effective affliation & price comparism click through schemes are
- how effective is staff training
- the influences that determine how a website is designed
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
