the entire airplane was destroyed unrecognizable and spread all over the place. How did anyone survive it? I guess a few other people have survived catastrophic crashes as well, but not many.
Its a combination of the Grace of God and pure luck. Its all a matter of sitting in just the right place.
There have been several other instances where airliners have crashed leaving only one survivor.
