How do parents with hospitalized or terminally kids deal with discipline?

What about when they are acting up or being naughty? How do you be a parent and still show them the love that need during such a hard time for them? Also what about the siblings? How do you ensure that they don't feel left out? How do you handle it when they act out?

If the siblings are older, how do you balance allowing them to help
out with their siblings care, while at the same time allowing them to be kids too and not overwhelming them?
