How do microsoft band me from my xbox 360 elite (If i flashed it)?

Yeap I didn't flashed my 360elite cuz i don't wont to get band also my friend told me that he was scared to open his xbox live cuz he don't wanna get band he did removed it and now he is playing original games
SORRY IF THERE IS ANY SPELLING MISTAKES I AM WRITING FAST LOL (BUT PLEASE ANSWER ME :B
 
If you connect to Xbox Live then they will be able to detect the modified hardware and/or software. Either by various updates or random checks.

No one know how they detect it, they just do. If people knew how they would always be one step ahead and never get caught.

if you ask me, its not worth it. getting banned would freakin suck. so maybe it wouldnt be good to go on live with modded software, but hey, if you never get caught then it would be freakin bomb! but if they ban you, surely there is a way to reset your gamertag so you can just start all over, but i think they actually ban your IP adress so that would be pointless. so you would have to switch internet companies or have them get you a new adress.... idk how much this is but it would cost somthing im sure.
