How do LoveFilm make money?

I'd imagine that they have special deals with Royal Mail. RM need to look at new ways to keep the postal service live. Companies with fresh ideas such as LoveFilm will need to be encouraged by RM.

Also, do not discount the number of people who have discs sitting at home. I'm sure my flatmate could have purchased the discs he currently has multiple times, as he is too lazy to post them back. I cancelled my service due to losing interest and holding on to discs for longer than I needed them.

I've no idea!

My brother got a free two month trial and when that ran out, he searched for another code on google and got another two months free :D

Unless you see it coming and prepare accordingly, the free trial isn't free at all, at least not if LoveFilm have anything to do with it.

I'd love to know how you can watch them all as unless you can find a way of copying to watch later , how do you find the time ? An ex was with them and months after he left they sent him a

Well his last one was completely free.

The normal trial is 2 weeks, but if you search google, people give you codes for 2/3 months!

It would be difficult to not get charged after 2 weeks, since it takes a few days to send, then a few days to return, but if you get 2 months, it's as easy as quiting the trial on the website, then phoning up to cancel.

2 months is plenty of time to get a load of films (or games in his case).

I had free trials from all the online DVD rental sites, back in the days when there were loaRAB of different ones. In the end I found I was watching films on my own because it was the only way to keep the list moving. In the future I hope we'll be able to get a cheap subscription to watch films on demand rather than having to wait for them to be delivered.
