How do I use the USB flash drive from one computer to another?

For example, when I type something, how can I save it into the usb?

save it to your desktop and then put it on

Your thumb drive when inserted comes up in my computer as drive F or G or H. In your notepad or word processor program in windows, go to file, save as, then select that drive instead of my documents or desktop

you need to get one of those "for dummies" books on how to do basic things with whatever operating system your computer has
