how do I use Nokia 2330 in the US?

I got Nokia 2330 in Europe but I cannot make calls in the US. It is said that it supports 2G Network : GSM 1900/850 . I bought special travel SIM-card which is supposed for using in the US. But i still cannot make calls! Every time I am making call the message appear "No network". What's wrong? I spent $120 on this SIM-card so I would like to fix it. Help me, please!
