How do I use my xbox 360 as an extender for Windows Media Center ?

Just wonder how to do it , I have an ethernet cable , do I just connect my laptop and the console , or does the console have to be connected to the router ? If you can give step by step instructions that would be great ! Thanks (=
 
That's easy done it a few time
To use it as a extender you need Vista (with the media program) or media centre edition if have that thats great.

Plug it in
go to the media extender in setup (xbox 360) follow prompts
on your pc enter to media program, click add extender
follow what it says,
you need to ent a key, enter that
let it do its thing
your done!
