You are going to have to install a 3rd party app for that. MiniTones is a free app that allows you to use your mp3s as ringers. You can even trim the song. It is a very basic program. There is also ringopro, but that program costs about 25 dollars. Both programs are available for download on cnet.com .
 
I have a Treo 755p. I have an MP3 I would like to use as a ringtone. I do not have an SD card, nor do I have any use for one. Is there a way to use the MP3 as a ringtone? I've transferred it to my phone via bluetooth, and downloaded it through Blazer, and either way it ends up in pTunes.
