of the song...10 points!? for instance, I have a midi of a song that I want to put on mario paint composer. I right clicked the midi file and chose "Open with..." I opened it with word pad. One I had it opened with word pad I delete most of the text, so that I know the remaining text would be short enough to open on mario paint composer (mind you I was just trying to get it to work). Then I choose "Save as..." and I saved it as a text file.
Next I opened the "Prefs" folder on mario paint composer, and I dragged/drop the text file (of the midi song) into the "Prefs" folder. Then I opened Mario paint composer, but my song that I dragged/dropped into the "Prefs" folder did not show up in the list of songs. I want to know why it doesn't show up in the list of songs. Is there a certain way I have to save it? How? How and/or what do I do to make my text songs show up/play in mario paint composer? Thank you very much.
