i am new to casting so i casted out a line. i casted out the line and the spining thingy gaught tangeld. i realed the line in but now its looking like the spinny thingy is havind a bad hair day. how do i fix this
Next time if you're using a spinning reel (like i think you are using) close the bait BEFORE the bait hits the bottom so it won't just bundle up. It also helps if you manually close the bail with your hand instead of turning the reel handle to put the bail back in place. Just keep practicing and you will get it.
alright your problem is that when ur reeling the line in its loose and its loosely wrapping around the reel when u real in (unless ur line is tight). you need to make sure to pinch the line against the rod next to the reel and pull it tight untangling it is really just luck u could just cut it off theres no great idea for actually untangleing it just pull line untill the whole tangle is off the reel
