How do I unlock my honda stereo with my code?

I see that alot of people have the same problem. I have a 95 honda Prelude and after searching forever I finally fount the white sticker everyone was talking about with the 5 digit code hiding in my trunk (at least I'm hoping its the right sticker). I put the digits in.....NOTHING HAPPENED.....what do I do??????
