How do I transfer songs to my itunes library from a flash drive?

I don't use iTunes, so bare with me. Plug in your flash drive, open it up and hold 'Ctrl' and press A. Make a folder on your desktop named Music and drag the contents of your flash drive folder here. Open up iTunes, and do the following.

File>Add File to Library>Click the tab up top> Click Desktop>And then scroll through to find your file> click Open.

That should add every song you have - and every song you even place in that folder - to iTunes.

Best of luck!

I got a new computer and i downloaded itunes on to it but obviously my songs weren't on there most of the songs i got from limewire. So i took all the songs from my old computer that were on my itunes and put them on my flash drive then i loaded the songs onto my new computer itunes. But the songs i transferred will only play when the flash drive is in my computer. I tried putting the songs from my flash drive into another area on my computer so that itunes could find it but it didn't work.
If anyone knows any easy quick ways to transfer an entire itunes library including songs that weren't purchased on itunes please let me know. Or if anyone knows how to fix my problem please let me know thanks if you can help.

Put the flash drive in the computer, and open up windows explorer. Look at what drive your computer names it and close that and go to iTunes.
There are two ways to transfer the library. If the songs are not in a folder, press file>add file to library, then you can select the first one, hold down the shift button, and click on the last one. This will select all of the songs on your flash drive.
If the songs are in a folder on your flash drive, in iTunes you can select file>add folder to library, and it will add all of the songs.
However, because you downloaded them from Limewire, some of them will not have an album, or album artwork, so you will have to edit that yourself by right clicking on the song and clicking "get info". You can also use the shift trick I told you about to edit the information for entire albums.
Feel free to email me if you need additional help. Good luck(:

open the flash drive and press CTRL A. Put them in a new folder which is on your actual computer first. Then click and drag into the itunes library.

Or you can go to preferences in iTunes and set it to automatically back up your music when it is opened with iTunes.
