How do I transfer my music from my flash drive to iTunes on a Mac?

Im transfering my music on my PC to a Mac using a flash drive. Can someone give me step by step directions on PERMANENTLY transfering the music to my iTunes?
I wanna be able to have the music on my iTunes without keeping the flash drive in my Mac.
