How do i transfer my iphone applications, from one computer to another?

Does anyone know what the easiest way to transfer my iphone applications from one computer to another, as i am having a lot of trouble, if anyone knows the best way that would be great, a step by step would be so good. HELP? haha
 
i would guess the easiest way is to sync you iphone with your computer so both have the exact version - then on the new computer isntall the itunes software and sync the new computer with your iphone.
