how do I transfer HTML creator files to my webpage?

I have my own website ( someone else started it for me, it's a £20 a year webpage with standard space and streaming on it).
I downloaded an HTML creator= and designed the front page, with links and so on.
I called this file X and downloaded file X to the host site=

www - dot- worria-dot- com

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!!
The host site, is the one above, it is TOTALLY HARD TO WORK WITH!
I am used to a mac where things are nice and easy. This "host" site- there seem to be sub-sites, and another area of the same site, which has a different name, "parallels" or something.

Basically, my own webpage needs tweaking and updating - the person who created it can only do so much before I need to go in myself- so I used the
HTML Creator ( that is actually what its called) to make what I though was the frint page- with the basic design I wanted.
Once I'd downloaded this file X to the host site, how do I make this file X as the page you see when you open up my website?

AM I missing something really obvious?

the page is go to to uplaod file X is called "WebShell"

You might want to download a software called Dreamweaver, it works really well with creating webpages and you don't have to go through the stupid html code, it does it for you.
