How do I text message from My computer to a Cellphone?

I am at my college right now, I do not have my charger with me, and I need to text my husband and mother from my computer. How do I do that?! I normally use Yahoo Instant Messanger. But I do not know how to text cellphones with that program. Is there another one I can use, or a website that I can use to to Text Message them? And no there are no pay phones for me to call from. =( This school sucks. (we dont even have wifi.)
