at one point the headlight bulb would blow out as soon as rev it up so that why i thought the regulator is bad now i have no power that goes or comes to the regulator even when bike is on and reving up except for the power from the battery
 
attach a voltage meter to the battery. start the engine and slowly rev it up. The meter should go no higher than about 14 volts. if it does then your voltage regulator is not working.
 
Blowing the headlight is one indicator of a bad rectifier.
You may have fried a wire. There is junction box that connects the alternator with the regulator/rectifier. Check to see if its melted.
