how do i tell my dad i dont want that car?!?

so for my birthday my dad said hes gonna buy me the slr roadster i dont like it! it looks like a manly car! ive dropped him numerous hints as to the car i want (m6 convertible) but he doesnt seem to get it! ive asked my mom to tell him but they dont talk so it was pointless i even tried asking her to buy it for me! so my dad wont buy the crappy car! but she woulndt do that either! i have no problem telling other people how i feel and i know when to say no its just that when it comes to my dad i dont want to hurt him. i need help!

you know what you need ? a good slap in the face to wake you up . I can't believe this. My dad is not buying me the car I like. Why don't you get a job and pay for the car you want. My god you are so ungrateful...I feel sorry for your dad.
