I do not want to be super mean but I want to be strict and serious. We are friedns who never really had a fight but they are being intrusive and nosy about my relationship of 3 1/2 years. They are asking me if "rumors" are true and they should not even believe all the crap that losers are making up. Im done trying to defend my honest, loyal and loved relationship!

If a friend of mine asked me if rumors are true I'd probably look at them like they were an idiot and ask, "Why are you paying attention to rumors about my life?" It's short, to the point, and calls them on their idiocy. You could even say it with a laugh to take the sting out of the words a little, but it still gets the point across without making a huge deal about it.
