how do i teach my daughter to steer her dora bike?

My 2 1/2 year old can pedal great but cannot steer. How do you teach them to steer i know it's going to take practice but does anyone know an easy way to teach her. I have been just holding the front and adjusting the bike when she starts steering off to the side of the sidewalk. she has only been at it for a couple days so i'm amazed with how well she is doing already
