How do I tap into a 12 volt power source in my car?

I bought a Japanese floor lighting system for my car (I live in Japan). I can't read Japanese, but it looks like I need to tap into a 12 volt power source to power the LED's. There is one red (positive?) wire coming out of the control box that looks like its supposed to be crimped with another positive wire (I'm assuming a circuit connected to the headlights). The other line is a normal 12 volt DC cigarette lighter style plug. I was wondering what an easy source is to hook up the red wire to, perhaps the fuse responsible for headlights? I looked at the fuse box under the dash, and it's pretty intimidating, I have no idea which idea I would want to splice. I've never really done any wiring in cars before, so I'd appreciate any input, thanks!

your wiring problem is simple just splice into any wire thats hot when the key is turn or if you want to hook up to the lights thats fine too but its harder you have to run from the switch reccomended not the fuse block
