how do i talk to bf who always walks away?

every time i try to communicate, he leaves. i say just a sentence and he avoids the topic, leaves the room, ask me about something else...
i can not talk to him about serious things or about our relationship longer than few seconds.
why is he like this and what can i do? he leaves me worrying about the problem we have and doesn't wanna discuss it.
