Hi all,
I completely realise this is a dumb basic question that anyone familiar with php will laugh at! However, i have been put in charge of ,amongst a number of things, a mailing list despite being completely unfamiliar with php.
Anyway some people wanted to be added to the mailing list and left their details so i added them via users>add a user and entering and saving their details. Now in the 'users' section it comes up saying 'Users marked red are unconfirmed (24)' which i expected since i presumed these people would be sent an email saying 'click to confirm subscription'. However, after a few days this figure didn't change so i entered my own email in and noticed that i got no 'confirm e-mail'.
I've now noticed if you go to 'subscribe pages>add a new one' it appears you can add users through this. Which is the correct way?
