how do I stop my girlfriend's curtains smelling of fish?

Hi Im Sid and I have a problem.
My girlfriend's curtains often smell very fishy and this often puts me off going round to hers. As she lives above a fish and chip shop and has her windows open it is hard to stop this, but would blinds be a better option?

you spray it on the curtains.
