This has become the main reason that my parents want the dog to go. We've only had him acouple of months (since Christmas) and I refuse to believe that there isn't a way to solve the problem. I asked my mom for two months to try to fix the problem, and she said okay. So, now I have two months to try to stop him from getting into her flower beds (and stop him from chewing up the grill cover). ny ideas on how to do this?
Background info: 5 months and 1 week old, male, unneutered (has to be 6 months), cocker spaniel, outdoor dog with a pen in the garage (he is very comfortable in there, has bed, blankets, food, water, heater, etc.), taken on at least 1 walk daily. problem is, everyone in my family goes to work or school, and the earliest I can be home is 2:30. so for about 7 or 8 hours he's home alone...
so what do I do to stop him from getting into my mom's flower beds and chewing up the grill cover? please help, he's a very sweet, loving, loyal dog and I don't want to abandon him!
