I met this guy like a month ago.
We talked online/on the phone A LOT, and got extremely flirty... We were basically dating. He came over and stayed with me last weekend... and it was fantastic. For both of us. Though now he's back-pedaling a bit, and we've pulled the "I just want friends for now" card. It's so weird knowing this is the same guy I've seen completely undressed and such.... and now we're acting like I act with all of my other friends. It kind of hurts a bit.
I've confronted him on it. I said I didn't want to be friends forever and feel like we prematurely cut off exploring more. He said he doesn't even know what he's doing next week, let alone the rest of our lives, and that things can be open to whatever possibilities in the future. We're still talking like 5-6 times daily and phone calling/skyping like we had been before. But it went from being incredibly romantic to platonic.
I want to be at least moving in the direction of romantic. He's coming over again in like 2 weeks.
What do I do to give us dating a shot? Why did he suddenly panic and pull the friends card? I like being sexual with him. The platonic is great too, but I feel like there's a massive elephant in the room we're ignoring.
