Oh, we usuaully watch movies once every 3 weeks. Would I need to soundproof it then?

I am getting a new fish tank and was wondering how I could soundproof it. It is going in my tv room and when we watch movies, the fish will get stressed out.
My real question is, is there a cheap way to soundproof a fish tank? Can I move the soundproof material away from the tank after the movie is over?
