I am trying to set up an ad hoc network on my laptop so I can use my cricket wireless for my Ipad. I heard it can be done but I am having no luck. So far I set up the network but my Ipad won't connect to it. It "sees" it but I get no internet signal.
You lost me on that last part but it sounds like you know way more than I do. Can you be more detailed? I'm on a PC laptop that runs on Vista. I know this can be done because my brother in law made it work for a couple of minutes and then went in to make the network secured and lost signal and I havent been able to get it back. Can I start from scratch setting up a network?
