I have a Pioneer DEH-P790BT Headunit, it has a 5 band Equalizer.. what level do i set each band on the equalizer so that there is no Bass? i want to set it so that it puts out little or no Bass to the component speakers in my car.. 2001 Jetta with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters on a factory 200wattt amp.. i have installed my 2 10" Kenwood Subwoofers running at 800rms.. and would like to eliminate the bass from the component speakers so that Bass only comes from the 2 Subwoofers.

the human range goes from 20 Hertz. to 20k Hertz. the 20 Hertz is the lowest bass and 20k. is the highest treble.

most likely the sliders read 40 500 1200 4000 something like that so the 1st. slider u would want to turn down.

u still want some bass from your front speakers if the subs are crossed over right they should play something like 100 hz. down and the mids should play 100hz.up,
learn about the crossover settings and how to tune your sound, it is like a guitar and won't sound right if settings are not optimized but the eq is there to balance the sound and turning down the bass all the way will hurt the sound just play with the dials while listening on a good recording in a quiet place.
