I'd like to buy a Specialized Rockhopper and I'm in Australia now.. If i do buy it i will be buying it from a reputed bike store.
now the thing is that I'm in Australia only for 1.5 yrs, and after that i go back to my country, so at that time i'll be selling my bike..so if the bike shop does sell second hand bikes too-and i decide to sell it though them, do they wire the money to ur account once the bicycle is sold ? how do they reach the money to you, and what happens if noone buys the bicycle.. else do they give u a certain amount at the time u hand them over the bicycle ?
thanks in advance. really appreciate it.
PS - i'd have liked to have kept the bike, but i dont really get parts for good bikes like specialized, giant etc back home
I will end up buying the bike, but i need to explain to my parents how i plan to sell the bike after I'm done :) they'll wire the money only once they're certain that i can sell the bike- thats why i thought the bike shop would be a great place to do that

They may not sell in on consignment, but they may offer to buy it back from you when you're ready to go.

There's a chain of stores near me (and maybe throughout the US, I'm not sure) called "Play it Again Sports". They take used sports equipment of all kinds and re-sell it. When you trade something in, you can take cash, they can sell it on consignment or you can take the amount in store credit. Perhaps they have something like that in Australia also.

forget about how to sell the bike,
the matter is 1.5 years of your live time to enjoy with this bike and can you afford it.
you are really need the bike, so buy it.
