How do I say it the right way?

My fiance has yellow teeth. It has never really bothered me too much before, but we are getting married next year. I gave him white strips and bought new tooth paste, but he hasn't used the white strips yet or the toothpaste. How do I tell him in a nice way that he needs to use them?
