How do I save a Windows Movie Maker file onto a flash drive?

I created a movie with music on Windows Movie Maker to my flash drive. I can retrieve it and play it from my home computer but when I take it into school, only the text boxes show up. My teacher said there is a way to finalize it onto my flash drive but she never showed me how. Someone PLEASE HELP ME.
 
When you make the movie, you save it as you go, right? Then when it's done, you have to Publish it. When you publish it, choose the flash drive as the destination, and it should save there.
