How do I reset the security code for my Samsung Upstage cell?

My mom bought it, and now I have it...

I guess the previous owner (BTW she bought it at a garage sale lol) had a security code for it...

Well, its not locked or anything, but I'd like to know how to reset it just in case I lock it by accident or if I want to lock it myself... Is there a way I can reset it myself??

Oh, and the reset button on the phone didnt work... Of course.
With my puchase bill??!! That sucks, since I don't have one. lol
