I layed my bike down a couple weeks ago and i got a couple hairline cracks in the stator cover and it leaks oil a lot now cause of that. i bought a new cover and began to replace it but while i was taking it off it seemed held on by some sort of springy mechanism and looked as if the gears for it were somehow meshed into the cover instead of the housing. can anyone help me??? i need to replace it ASAP! im having riding withdrawls!!!
