How do I replace the carburetors on 74 Yamaha tx500?

I have a 1974 Yamaha tx500. I am attempting to rebuild it and I know nothing about mechanics. I am using this as my education. The carburetors need to be rebuilt or exchanged and I have no idea with what. I do not mind using parts that aren't original. I would rebuild the carbs if I could find all the gaskets and what not. Can any one help?
