How do I replace the airbags in my '02 ford focus?

I bought a used 02 ford focus that doesn't have airbags.
i called around and it's going to be roughly $2200 to get it all replaced professionally.

Is there a way where I can just do it myself?
 
I can tell you that the driver airbag is very easy to replace, there are two screws holding it to the wheel and one plug that connects to the wheel. You can find these on eBay, although I have heard rumors that it is illegal to buy or sell used airbags. A little research on www.focaljet.com or www.focusfanatics.com should tell you how to change the passenger bag.
