How do i Remove Write-protection from A Game rom?

Ok, I installed Homebrew on my wii, and when i try to put a game on my SD card It says "Write-protection disallows the transferring of files; remove the write protection or use another disk." ive tried messing with the lock on my SD card, but It doesnt work, is there anything I can install so that it works? thanks.
