How do I remove the soap drawer from my LG front loader?

Go to a store that sells your machine (or a similar one), and pretend you are interested in buying one. Tell the sales guy that you are worried about gungeing up the drawer and ask them to show you how to get it out to clean it.
 
I have an LG front load washer that works like a charm. HOWEVER, user error...I used a cheap fabric softener that must have been too thick and it won't dispense. I can't find the manual to tell me how to get the drawer out so I can give it a clean. I tried running it with water to loosen it but nothing is really working. Afraid to yank too hard without knowing what I am doing as I don't want to break anyting. Any advice?

BTW: That junky fabric softener is the house brand at SuperStore.
