How do I remove the intake manifold on a 83 chevy 350?

I did some yard work for an old lady and she gave me an 83 chevy that her neighbor stole the carburetor, distributor and the radiator out of. The open hole where the carburetor sat has had acorns and leaves fallen into it... hopefully that's all. How do I take off the manifold to get the trash out of it?
