How do I remove the date stamp on my digital Kodak Easyshare photos?

I've noticed that the date stamp does not appear in the large thumbnail version of my photos, but does appear when I view the photo in it's full size. If the thumbnail version shows the photo with no stamp, that must mean that the date stamp it not actually part of the photograph, but superimposed on top. How do I remove it?
 
I'm pretty sure you can't just delete it. Perhaps the date stamp is small enough that it isn't visible when the photo is viewed thumbnail size. If you don't want the stamp to show up in the future, consult you user's manual for info on how to go into your camera's settings and turn this option off. On all cameras I've owned (Canons), once the date stamp is set it can't be removed without a photo editing program like Photoshop.

If you have Photoshop, use the healing brush tool to erase the date stamp!
 
I have the Kodak Easyshare C180 cam and what u do is go to the Menu icon move over to the Setup list, scroll down to Date Stamp then move to On or Off. Then Press ok. Done.
