how do i remove and reinstall java/ flash player?

Go To Control Panel >>Add Remove Program
you will find your flash player and java entry there
uninstall and you are done.
then install their new version from corresponding website.

you might use advanced uninstaller to remove their all evidence too
Use Revo Uninstaller .Its Free To Find Google it.
